As a guideline, international applicants will complete/will have completed their school leaving examinations in 2025-2031 and will be approximately 11 to 19 years old when accepted into the Series.

The Honors Performance Series was established to showcase the most talented young musicians today on some of the world’s greatest stages.
The 2025/2026 Honors Performance Series will be hosted in three prestigious locations. In 2025, the series will take place at the iconic Sydney Opera House in Australia and the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall in New York for the Middle School Program. In 2026, the High School Program will be held at Carnegie Hall and at a world-renowned venue in London, England.

In order to be considered for the Honors Performance Series, musicians must submit an audition recording, brief performing biography, and contact information for a teacher reference. Nominations are instrumental in identifying talented students for the Series. School teachers, university professors, and private instructors are all eligible to nominate for the Honors Performance Series.

In order to be considered for the Honors Performance Series, musicians must submit an audition recording, brief performing biography, and contact information for a teacher reference. All applications are reviewed by an expert board of music professionals for final selection. Selected musicians are assigned to ensembles based upon ensemble balance requirements.
